We Were Just Getting Started
The G35 was unveiled in 2001 and first released in 2003. Its impact was immediate. Motor Trend [*] named it the Car of the Year, and Car and Driver [*] had it on its 10 Best list. It was built on a Front Midship platform, with its engine positioned further back in the engine bay for a more even weight distribution
A Step Forward
The 2006 G35’s interior was enhanced with new gauges, dash, center console and aluminum trim. Outside, the headlights, taillights and spoiler got a new look. Performance-wise, HP was increased to 298, and it was outfitted with bigger, better brakes.
Truly Dynamic Performance
The all-new G37 replaced the celebrated INFINITI G35 in 2008. Under the hood was a new a 3.7-liter engine that pumped out 330 horsepower—32 more than its predecessor. In 2009, the G37’s evolution continued with the addition of All Wheel Drive, which proved very popular with drivers in the colder, snowier parts of the country.
2011 G37 IPL
IPL stands for INFINITI Performance Line, and the 2011 G37 IPL certainly lived up to the acronym. With a special IPL tuning package, bolder styling inside and out, and 348 horsepower, it was the most exhilarating G37 yet.
