What to do in an Accident
To help protect yourself and your vehicle, it is critical that you first follow the steps below before doing anything else.
Step 1: Stay Safe
- If there are injuries, call 9-1-1 immediately
- Drive the vehicle out of traffic lanes (if safe to do so)
- Activate 4-way flashers
- Ensure everyone is a safe distance from passing vehicles
- Exchange information with other driver(s)
